

Once you have the program open in the Command Line you want to type in " speedtest -s 28463" and hit enter.

Open the new folder and type “cmd” in the address bar.This involves a very small download and easy setup on Windows, while the other operating systems require a few extra steps (instructions are provided for these other systems on the Ookla page, however).

This is great to use on older devices, or just as a less resource intensive alternative to in-browser testing, while maintaining the regular Ookla testing methods. Ookla has released a new Command Line Interface version of their classic Speedtest application for testing found here.
